Built in 1859 and rebuilt in 1983, the
unique feature of this Southern Indian temple is the roof
with 48 engraved glass panels which are angled to catch the
rising and setting sun. The temple traditionally sees the
culmination of the Thaipusam procession as well as the
Navarathiri Festival.
